Pregnancy update

I have been completely MIA lately!

I think it's because I feel like every post I would post would be about being pregnant or pregnancy related.

Who wants to hear about that all the time??

Not me! lol

I feel like this pregnancy has completely consumed my life.

So bare with me I'm almost done.

I can't believe I only have roughly 8 weeks left.

Hopefully my body can hold out until then.

I have been experiencing preterm labor symptoms off and on for the past couple months.

It scared me to death the first day,

I eventually ended up at the hospital

because the contractions wouldn't stop!

I was an emotional wreck that day,

it was horrible I can't even tell you!

After being in the hospital for a few hours,

I finally got the shot that makes the contractions stop.

Since then I'll have bad days and good days.

The bad days I can feel the contractions threatening to come,

Lots of pressure and aching come down in my low belly with contractions here and there.

Those days I take it easy and drink a herbal tea my sister's midwife told me to drink which relaxes the uterus and stops contractions.

Last week was a bad week,

everyday I felt my body tensing up and the preterm labor pain/symptoms begin.

This week has been a good week,  

not one day have I felt anything abnormal!

Yay for good weeks.

So fingers crossed everything will be fine until I'm full term!

The fog of Morning Sickness....

If you didn't know I am pregnant!

I'm currently 4 months along, 

and due August 19th.

I have been miserable with nausea and horrible headaches which never seem to leave.

I do have to say I am feeling better....finally.

I feel like I'm 75-80% better on some days,

other days I'm not nearly feeling well at all.

When I'm in the fog of morning sickness I can barely keep my house to a decent level of clean.

In fact it's not clean at all.

Mostly I wait to do this dishes until there are NO clean dishes left....which forces me to clean.

My house is mostly a disaster all the time...it's pretty horrible!

Now I'm feeling better I can't handle this dirty house ANY LONGER!

I feel like I'm spring cleaning.

I'm de-cluttering and deep cleaning everything.

I have to say it feels sooooo GOOD to get my house clean.

When I'm sick I don't pay attention to anything.

Now I'm paying for it lol.

From my carpet to my walls...I have to clean everything.  

The things my kids do when I'm so sick and tired to care what they are doing....

it's pretty gross lol.  

I now just need to clean my carpets,

which I'm hoping to do within the next week.

Then to just keep on top of things from here are out.

Fingers crossed....the headaches and nausea leave completely soon.

A Birthday Cake.

 I am very fortunate to live around good friends.

My friend has a cake decorating business called

Busy B's Cakes.

This friend offered to help me decorate Landon and Audrey's birthday cake.

I am sooo happy she did!

I got to learn how to a put a cake together.

Which was like playing with playdoh....I felt like a kid again. lol

My friend really helped me out a lot....she is so wonderful.

There is no way I could have done this without her!

And here is the cake!

A Frankenstein Halloween Cake! lol

Landon and Audrey both decided what this cake was going to be,

and I love how it turned out!

It got a bit smashed in transit which was all my fault,

but I still loved it....(even though I ate cake for days and days and gained 5lbs.) haha

It was so fun to do, and I can't wait until Carson's bday,

so I can make his cake!

 Remember when I went to Utah just recently?

You know for my sisters wedding?

Ok well on that plane ride I sat next to....

a professional song writer.

We started talking and

 can I say this person 

is the best person ....I have ever sat next to on an airplane....

hands down!

I think was it fate?

Out of all the seats and people on this plane

I just happen to sit next to a professional song writer??

I don't know if it was fate or not,

but I do feel so lucky to have met this person.

It is a dream for me to work with a professional,

and write a song.

I am having that chance right now!

This person has turned my idea into something I could only wish to do.

I do not have any professional training,

I have not gone to college,

and only a hand full of months of piano lessons when I was 10.

 I am so limited to what I can create on my own.

Working with someone who has all the training I don't have is

so AMAZING.

This person makes me want to get serious about song writing.

I enjoy it as my hobby.

I don't know,

but maybe one day I will actually record a song or an album!
