Life Update

We are in a house finally!  I didn't think it would actually happen...but it has!  I still wake up thinking I'm in a hotel...not my house! lol  We do love it here.  There's so much more room for our stuff, I don't feel so cluttered now.  It's like awwwww phew that feels good! lol   I just want to paint, so then I can put up pictures, and hopefully a mirror (I told my dad I really wanted a big nice mirror...and if I know my papa he'll give some money towards my mirror!)  I totally need more money to decorate!  Little by little it'll happen. :) Lucky for us it's not a fixer upper house, other than the painting I want to do.  We already have the nice up grades like granite counter tops, tile flooring ect.  I have to thank our friends Joe and Stacy for giving us this opportunity. :D

Little miss Audrey is doing good.  She's almost walking normal again.  You should have seen her when she first started walking after the cast was taken off.  She looked like a caveman! lol  Now she's walking much better...I was very concerned there for a while! lol  Let me say it's so nice to have her walking again...I don't have to carry her everywhere now. :D  Audrey is a cute and feisty little girl.  Bret says she's just like me! lol  Her poor husband to be...I feel for him already ;)  She knows what she wants,  and how she wants it....yep she is just like me! lol  She is super sweet and very lovable, you just have to make her feel like a princess and she'll love you to death!  :)

Landon and Carson are doing good also.  I have the boys sleeping in the same room,( Audrey has her own fairy princess room.)  It's cute to see the boys together. Carson loves his big brother and Landon loves his baby brother.  When Landon comes home from school or if he's been gone hanging out with his uncle Brock...Carson can't wait for Landon to give him a hug and talk to him!  It's super cute!  Carson is the sweetest little boy...we all love him soooo much!  Landon is really turning into such a good  and kind little boy.  He lets me know he loves me all the time. I'm really lucky to have him in my life!

Best Bean Dip?

So on Saturday Bret and I went over to our friend's the Wuehlers to watch the Cowboys kick the Eagles butts.  Poor Brian was very upset about this because the Eagles are his favorite team! Sorry Brian! ;)  Anyway I through together a bean dip which ended up being the hit of the night? well it was pretty good so I promised to post the recipe so everyone else could enjoy it again and again! Here you go!

Cheesy Bean Dip
2 cups Cheddar Cheese
1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
1 (16 oz.) can Refried Beans
1 cup Sour Cream
2 Tbs. Taco Seasoning

In a bowl combine beans, sour cream, taco seasoning, and 3/4 of the shredded cheese. mix well then pour into 2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top. Bake uncovered. Preheat oven 350 degrees cook 20-30 mins. serve with tortillas chips.

A day to do nothing

Today is my nothing day.  I have cleaned, cooked, and worked out two times a day for a the past few days.  But today I woke up and decided I need a break.  The result is my bed isn't cleaned up, there are dishes in the sink and on table, and I didn't workout this morning.  Normally I would be feeling kinda depressed at this point, but I'm not! I'm just enjoying not doing much of anything.  Sometimes it just feels so good to relax!  Don't worry I'm not going to be lazy all day. I am on the verge of cleaning up a bit, then I'm going to take the kids on a walk to my in-laws.  Which is also where my husband Bret works, kinda convenient for us and I love it!  I hope everyone else is having a good day like me!

Fall not Autumn

Fall is my favorite season and as Landon would say "mom it's not autumn it's fall, I don't like the word autumn!." Landon is my funny bright little boy!  He just had his 5th birthday on Nov.2nd. and if you ask him he will say he's bigger because he is 5 now.  Audrey's birthday came first which was on Halloween and if you asked her Halloween was her day and nobody else's!   Anytime Landon brought up Halloween she would say "NO that's my birthday not yours!  My HALLOWEEN! I'm Cinderella on Halloween!" yes she would yell and usually push Landon at the same time...lol that's my feisty little princess.  When her birthday finally came we all had to call her Cinderella.  She was actually very sweet on her birthday and she let Landon join in on her birthday fun!  We all had a fun time trick or treating. :D

Sunday we went over to my in-law's to celebrate Landon and Audrey's birthdays.  We had a yummy dinner and the whole time Ladon was asking "when are we going to open the presents??!" or " are you done yet so we can open up the presents?!" Landon got everything he wanted which was Nerf guns.  Bret, Brock (my 16 year old brother in-law), and Landon played with the guns until it was time to go!  It was really funny watching Bret and Brock they were acting like little boys, they had to much fun!  Audrey got dolls and Cinderella princess tea set. she was also very happy!  

The best present of all was last and what amazing presents they are! Their Nana and Papa were so very wonderful and they got them Hummer H2 ride on cars!  One Yellow and one Pink!  I think I was more excited for them than they were.  needless to say they now have so much fun when we go over to Nana and Papa's house!  

It was a great birthday celebration with family and friends one I'm sure they will never forget!
