A Birthday Cake.

I am very fortunate to live around good friends.
My friend has a cake decorating business called
Busy B's Cakes.
This friend offered to help me decorate Landon and Audrey's birthday cake.
I am sooo happy she did!
I got to learn how to a put a cake together.
Which was like playing with playdoh....I felt like a kid again. lol
My friend really helped me out a lot....she is so wonderful.
There is no way I could have done this without her!
And here is the cake!

A Frankenstein Halloween Cake! lol
Landon and Audrey both decided what this cake was going to be,
and I love how it turned out!
It got a bit smashed in transit which was all my fault,
but I still loved it....(even though I ate cake for days and days and gained 5lbs.) haha
It was so fun to do, and I can't wait until Carson's bday,
so I can make his cake!

Luckiness

Remember when I went to Utah just recently?
You know for my sisters wedding?
Ok well on that plane ride I sat next to....
a professional song writer.
We started talking and
 can I say this person
is the best person ....I have ever sat next to on an airplane....
hands down!
I think was it fate?
Out of all the seats and people on this plane
I just happen to sit next to a professional song writer??
I don't know if it was fate or not,
but I do feel so lucky to have met this person.
It is a dream for me to work with a professional,
and write a song.
I am having that chance right now!
This person has turned my idea into something I could only wish to do.
I do not have any professional training,
I have not gone to college,
and only a hand full of months of piano lessons when I was 10.
I am so limited to what I can create on my own.
Working with someone who has all the training I don't have is
so AMAZING.
This person makes me want to get serious about song writing.
I enjoy it as my hobby.
I don't know,
but maybe one day I will actually record a song or an album!

Kandee Johnson

Here is just a quick shout out to Kandee Johnson she is an amazing makeup artist.
You know the Urban Decay "Naked" palette I was just raving about?
Well Kandee has a few tutorials on how to use that palette.
She shows you how to put on makeup,
what makeup to buy,
from foundation to eye shadow and much more.
She is so informative I love her.
If you don't know how to put makeup on,
what to use,
or how to use it.
Go learn from Kandee Here!
She has so many different tutorials
from get ready quick to....
how to do the Kim Kardashian look.

I actually have fun getting ready again!
I can't wait to see what I am going to do today!
Seriously fun :D

New MakeUp!!

Did you know I have the best mom and sisters in the whole world?
Well I do...in my opinion. :)
These wonderful people knew I needed new makeup.
They surprised me with BEAUTIFUL makeup!
Urban Decay's "Naked" palette is amazing!
They are such beautiful colors and they go on so smooth and light.
I can not say anything negative about this palette.
It is completely worth the price you pay!
It costs about $50.
I know that seems high...BUT it's really not for what you get.
12 colors, eye primer, and a really good brush.
AND this will last you for at least a year OR
way longer if you don't wear makeup everyday.
MAC makeup is another really good makeup brand,
but each color costs about $14 a color.
So this Urban Decay palette is really a good buy.
I'm telling you EVERY woman should have this palette!

Anyway my wonderful people also got me some:
lipstick
lip liner
eyeliner
blush
And brushes.
I cried when I saw everything they got me.
I am truly thankful for such sweet amazing mom and sisters....
who love me, and treat me so good.
Thank you Again!

Airport Pick Up

When I went up to Utah for my sister Ashley's sealing.
My whole family picked me and my sister Kat  up at the airport.
Picking me up from the airport... mind you was sooo funny,
because 2 of my sisters dressed up as homeless people.
Yes I said HOMELESS people.
They stood in a corner of the airport next to the doors.
My dad suggested I go and give the "homeless" people some money.
I was hesitant because from the back they looked really iffy lol.
Then I realized two of my sisters were missing.
I walked over to these "homeless" people and sure enough they were my sisters! lol
It was hilarious to say the least.
People were staring all around us.
Yes that is my family,
making a scene wherever we go.
One of the reasons why I love them so much!
There is NEver a dull moment.
This Utah trip was just what I needed.
It was the first trip I have ever taken with NO children or child.
I was all by myself for a full 3 days.
I missed my chillens terribly,
at the same time it was glorious to not have to
feed,
 clean,
and just plain take care of anyone
BUT myself.
I can tell you I have been a better mother and wife since I've been back.
It's good to get away.
