A Criminal???

This morning I got a knock on the door RIGHT after hubby left for work.

I mean like mayyyybe a total of 2 minutes had passed.  

When I get a knock on the door in the morning I usually go into panic mode

because I usually don't have either a shirt on or pants on OR maybe even both.  

This morning I didn't have a shirt on.

So I run into my room and grab my bra because it just happens I wasn't wearing my bra this morning either.....probably too much info....but now you know. 

Then I grab the nearest shirt and put them on.

I go answer the door and there is 2 Sheriffs at my door asking for who??

For hubby!  

I promptly tell them hubby isn't here.

And the one Sheriff who is talking to me clearly saw the concern plastered on my face.

He tells me not to worry, 

that hubby isn't in any kind of trouble.

BUT I'm thinking...no trouble??

Then why would Sheriffs be here at my door??

He just says hubby's name came up in an investigation they are doing and they need to talk to him.

Long story short...

Bret came home from work for lunch and called the Sheriff back.

The Sheriff came back over to talk to hubby....

and APPARENTLY

a house had been robbed a couple months ago and they found hubby's old, lost driver's licence on the floor at the house!   

Hubby had lost his driver's licence about a year ago.

Hubby and I thought our kids got into his wallet and taken and lost his DL.

That is so something that they would do.

BUT NO apparently they weren't to blame this time.

Don't worry I don't think they got into too much trouble.

Good thing too since it wasn't even them. haha

Someone else had stolen hubby's DL.

WHO??

We don't know.

But we do know...

the Sheriff let hubby off the hook...knowing hubby had obviously been framed.

I don't know though... maybe hubby is the thieving type?

I mean I never thought so...

I've always thought he was the honest type

But I could be wrong.

Maybe he just acts all honest all the time,

but really....

HE steals all the time behind my back???

Maybe he just accidentally left his old, lost DL at this house is had robbed??

NAH he's a good guy lol

I trust him! :D

Funny story though.....right??

Cars 2 Movie Time

Soooo Bret and I never...well  rarely go to the movies.

Which means we very rarely take our kids to the movies.

I know I know my poor kids...

But I don't really feel bad about it.

They don't know the difference...

well that's what I tell myself. haha

AND they get to watch movies at home EVERYday!

BUTTTT 

We knew just had to take our kids to Cars 2!!

My in-laws asked if we wanted to go to the movie today

and OF course we said yes!

First off though my in-laws offered to just take Audrey and Landon...

Hubby said wait a minute...YOU have to take CARSON too!

(He is the main reason why we wanted to go.)

You see Carson asks to watch Cars everyday.

He says in the cutest little voice possible

"mom, watch cars?  Please mama?"

And most of the time I say yes...because he is so darn cute to me.

Anyway...

In-laws said ok then....BUT that means you have to go to because we don't think Carson will be good.

And you know what??  

Papa aka. Bret's Dad aka. Sam Mitchell

was VERY surprised that Carson didn't even move the WHOLE TIME!

He loved it!

 Just like hubby and I thought he would!

I loved it too, 

just like I thought I would :)

I would even say it was better than the first Cars movie....truly.

But that's just my little opinion. ;)

And Yes we are lame because we didn't think about taking pics! 

 Maybe next big outing we go we will take pics...

probably not because we very rarely remember to. 

Boo on us!

A Friend

I came upon a friend's blog just yesterday.  

Well I don't know this friend very well ,

but I still do consider her a friend.  

She has the kind of blog where you feel you know her.... like a best friend by the time you are done reading all her posts. 

 I spent an hour reading a lot of her blog...and I have to say I love her honesty.  

She is so real! 

 You know those blogs where you read them and then you feel like a terrible person/mom and wife because they are sooo put together and crafty that it makes you sick!  

Ya I can't read a lot of people blogs because of that haha,

BEcause I'm so not put together most of the time. lol

Anyway this friend isn't one of those types.  

She is the type where you feel like...oh ok so I'm not the only one struggling!

But I can have a positive attitude about the crappy things that happen in life.

Her honesty is sooo refreshing!

She has effected me in a positive way,

 I'm very grateful to her for it.  

Oh Such is Life!

I think I should get the worst blogger of the year award! lol 

 I seem to never get over here to my computer to post on my blog.  

Most of the time I think oh I need to post pics of the happenings in my life. 

 You see my husband uses our camera for work he being a real estate appraiser he has to take pics of the houses he inspects....so he usually has the camera at work with him.  

Then just recently our camera got stolen!!  

Stupid me for not uploading our photos sooner!  

I kept thinking I'll get the camera tomorrow and upload thoes pics....BUT tomorrow never came and we lost months worth of pics!  

It's so sad to me I will never be able to get those pics back...feels like memories have been lost. 

 I tell myself oh well it is what it is....now move on. 

 It seems like I have been saying that a lot lately haha.

  Anything and everything that could go wrong,

 has gone wrong theses last few months....no sob story from me though.

  I have to pick up the pieces and move on...which has been difficult to do , 

but it must be done. 

 Now I see the light at the end of the tunnel and hopefully that light will get brighter and brighter!  

I hope this summer will go as excepted...I have plans and I want my plans to work out just the way I planned them! lol 

I will share these plans once I know whether or not they will work out!

Right now I'm just trying to enjoy the weather and take my kids swimming almost everyday.  

Cheers to pools and getting our tan on (with sunblock of course...I'm not trying to get cancer!) and relaxing by the pool with a good book...listening to my kids laugh and play.  

I do get to join in on the fun too...since they still think I'm the coolest thing around. :)
